Ok, here’s this week’s Anthem 👇

The Anthem is made possible in part by El Tesoro, a neighborhood treasure serving good quality food at reasonable prices.

🍺 Patio season just got cozier at El Tesoro. They’ve got Bold Monk Brewing’s award-winning Brother Ivan Russian Imperial Stout on draft, and the fire pits might come out too.

🍳 Jolene Jolene is now serving brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11a-3p, with housemade goodies, treats, and brunch drinks.

🍷 3 Parks Wine Shop just made browsing a lot more dangerous. Their O4W location added Portal Bar, a wine counter where you can grab a spritz, a glass, and a snack, then take it to go around the Beltline development.

☕ Finca to Filter makes all of their syrups from scratch in house, and they’ll pour them into a Cat-uccino with cat latte art on top (if you’re lucky).

🎃 Three Taverns Ponce Brew Terminal has a new fall cocktail menu, and yes, there’s a pumpkin vodka shot with a cinnamon sugar rim. Connor’s eyeing the Autumn on Ponce: bourbon, spiced apple, and cardamom bitters.

🥨 Twains rolled out a new Fall special: a pumpkin shaped pretzel served with hot mustard and beer queso.

🍔 Camburger is moving inside! After years of slinging from porches and tents, Camburger will now have a home in Pure Quill Superette on Monday evenings.

🐔 Time to switch things up at Babygirl: Gone is the green tomato sandwich, welcome to the new upside down chicken pot pie.

🍝 It’s never a bad day to have lasagna, but Sagra is now offering Lasagna Monday’s. and now that I think about it Monday is the perfect day for lasagna. -James

🍝 Two lasagnas on one street? Banshee is now serving Veggie Lasagna with a wine pairing to boot. Let the lasagna wars begin!

🐻 You’ll be dreaming of Macau next time you visit Little Bear: Their new prix fixe menu is an ode to Macau, which combines Portuguese traditions with Chinese ingredients & methods.

🥯 You can pick up Gabriel’s Bagels from Ollie’s Market in Grant Park this Sunday. Pre order link here.

🍸 Check out the Pink Agenda!, a new cocktail at Argosy. It’s made with pink gin and hibiscus spritz, served with an orchid. It also raises funds to fight breast cancer

Introducing… Apollo

Neighborhood: Edgewood

About: Apollo is a large lap dog! If he isn't perched on the back of the couch observing the outside world he's sitting in your lap looking for snuggles. He loves a long walk, a chipmunk hunt or the chance to play with his puppy cousins, Artemis, Erebus and Achilles.

Fun Fact/Special Talent: Apollo makes sure that breakfast is served each morning promptly at 6AM. He burrows/shoves his whole body between Mom and her pillow each morning to get her up. No need for an alarm when Apollo's on the job!

Thank you to Talia and Daniel for sharing Apollo with us.

If you want your pet featured in the Park Pet Supply Pet of the Week section of the Anthem, fill out this form!
