In personal news, Connor is transitioning from being an East Atlanta Renter to an East Atlanta Homeowner this weekend. Weāre hoping for cool temps & no rain. What could possibly go wrong?
Speaking of cool temps, the 60 degree morning this week had James wondering what the record low was for August in ATL - turns out itās 55 degrees, set on August 29, 1992.

š Argosy announced a new pizza for the heat of summer, with fried eggplant, summer squash, vodka sauce, heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil.

āļø The third annual Atlanta Against Cancer event at Ponce City Market has been rescheduled from Aug. 9 to Sept. 13 due to the weather forecast.

š² Little Five Points is getting a whole new look. According to Axios, the area known as Findley Plaza will have new trees planted around the edges to create more space, while adding more bike racks and benches. The project should be mostly completed by mid-October in time for L5Pās annual Halloween Parade, while aiming to totally finish up by mid-November.
š¦ Fernbank Museum announced a three-phase renovation project expected to last until 2027. The AJC claims this is the biggest renovation in the Museumās history. Projects include new exhibits and accessibility improvements.
š The final draft recommendations from the Beltline Transit Study will be shared publicly at an upcoming virtual meeting on Aug. 12, including station locations in the Southeast quadrants of the Beltline. To join the Zoom, visit this webpage.
