💼 What do you do?
I write and edit the East Atlanta Anthem!

I also serve as the Marketing Director for Wholesome Wave Georgia, a statewide nonprofit that gets healthy food from local farmers to families in need.

🟢 Your go-to spot on the East Side right now?
Poor Hendrix. Pretty much anytime my wife and I get a date night opportunity, we're there. I've also been posting up during happy hour with a martini and a good book.

🚶 Favorite thing to do within walking distance of your house?
Walk to the East Lake Y and hop in the sauna for 20 minutes. I'm like a new person afterwards.

🌅 What's your morning routine look like around here?
My favorite weekday mornings are waking up early with our toddler (this happens regardless…), heading to Taproom for a cappuccino and quiche, walking to daycare, stopping by Evergreen for treats, and still having enough time for some light reading or a podcast before work.

🔈 What's playing on your speakers on a Saturday morning?
Been really into Jesse Welles. Saw him live at the Eastern in February - phenomenal show. His album "All Creatures Great and Small" is a great family listen.

💪 What's the most East Atlanta thing about you?
Riding the 107 bus to Manny's in Grant Park and drinking a pint (or three) of Halfway Crooks.

👆 What's something about the East side that's changed for the better since you've been here?
I lived on Edgewood Ave before the Beltline came through. 3 of the 4 roads leading to our place were under construction. The bridge was down. Krog didn't exist. Cops kept writing us tickets for illegal parking (all of which were overturned.... In fact, maybe just PARK Atlanta no longer existing. They were awful). But yeah, Edgewood Ave has seen a slight improvement since my time there.

www.wholesomewavegeorgia.org - help us reduce hunger in GA by paying local farmers. It's a win-win.
