Happy Thursday Everybody! After a frigid start to the week - which included a minor snow flurry and a rare peek a the Northern Lights - bearable temperatures have returned to set us up nicely for the weekend.

☕ A new coffee shop called Raani — occupying the old Hodgepodge location on Moreland — officially opens this weekend after a soft opening the last two weekends. Inspired by South Indian cuisine, the coffee is excellent and James highly recommends the Kaapi cakes.
🍩 Revolution Donuts released their November menu last week and the sweet potato pie filling is calling James’ name.
🍽️ Restaurant Week in Virginia Highland ends tonight! Restaurants in the district are offering specials ranging from $5 to $30. Here are some we have our eyes on: Rosa Cantina, Farmburger, Ela, La Tavola, Whiskey Bird, and Family Dog.
🍦 Huckleberry’s, the new corner store in East Lake, is running a Winter Cup Contest in search of the design for their Winter ice cream dishes. Winner gets $50 (and bragging rights).
