📚 On Tuesday, the team behind Lucian Books and Wine opened Sargent in Old Fourth Ward, with similar themes but a more lively, casual setting.
🎈 Gigi’s Italian Kitchen is turning 4 on Monday! Enjoy everything you’ve come to love about Gigi’s plus live music, oysters, food and drink specials & more.
🔒 Taproom has a second shift event tonight, and then will close at noon tomorrow for a staff party. Enjoy your afternoon off!
🍳 I’m not much of a brunch person (*ducks*) but this caught my eye: Funk Brunch at LikeMinds hosted by DJ Alphatrion.
⛺ Morningside Farmers Market will have arts and crafts for kids this Sunday so they can play while you shop.
🎆 Reservations are now open for Rosh Hashanah dinner with the General Muir… you can guarantee this will sell out.

☕ Peoples Town Coffee dropped their second summer menu, and it's a fun one: a Lavender Blueberry Matcha, Dark Chocolate Hazelnut, Orange Ameri-Cola, and a PB & J Latte with strawberry reduction. Available now through Sunday, 7am-3pm.
🍸 Important Martini Update: Deer and Dove now offers $7 martinis during weekday happy hour.
🍐 Babs Midtown has a small batch of housemade pear preserves available in limited quantities. Grab a jar while you can.
🥣 A new Indian restaurant opened in Decatur this week: Bun and Bombay, which features classic Indian food with lots of snacks and outdoor seating.
🥪 Dank’s Deli is taking over Heaps this Sunday with some bacon egg and cheese sandwiches (Note: the date says 8/16 but they’re back again this week).
🍤 Witty’s Seafood & Wings just opened up on Memorial across from the Lidl. Looks like they started as a food truck and have another location in Loganville. Reply with a review if you’ve tried it!
⚽ The Premier League is back and Brewhouse is ready for kickoff. Suspect it’ll be lively for the opening game this Friday at 3pm.
🌯 Poco Loco’s weekly meat burrito this week is The Kimball House with double smoked Frippers beef hot dogs, PSM bacon, and 5N Farm eggs, and the veggie option is The Love is Love , migas made with Love is Love Farm eggs, pico de gallo, and fritos.
🥬 Speaking of Love is Love Farm, sign up for their Summer/Fall CSA program and you can grab your weekly share of organic produce right in the neighborhood, Wednesdays at Sceptre Brewing or Saturdays at Woods Chapel. 15 weeks of organic produce kicks off the week of August 24th, with add-ons like eggs, bread, coffee, and cut flowers available too.
