This is a BIG weekend on the east side. Let’s into it 👇

The Anthem is made possible in part by El Tesoro. See The Menu.
🔥 Don’t forget, heated tents, fire pits, and amazing food are just around the corner at El Tesoro.
🍜 Gaja in EAV has a New (spicy) Soup: Gaja Army Stew, made with Chicken Dashi, Ramen, Pork Belly, Tofu, Rice Cake, Mushrooms, and Bean Sprouts.
🥪 Sammy’s, the awesome, relatively new sandwich spot in Adair Park, is Popping Up at Breaker Breaker every Monday in November from 5-9pm (or until sold out). I had a chance to check it out earlier this week and the Miami Sami was insane. Kind of wish I had gotten 2. - Connor
🍔 If you’re new to town, Evergreen Butcher & Bakery in Kirkwood does Burgers one day a week: Sundays. But they go fast. Look for the flag; it means they’re not sold out yet.
🥧 Pies By Julie started taking orders for Thanksgiving Pies. A great way to shop local and eat well this holiday season!
🍕 📅 New Month = New Pizza of The Month at Lloyds. For November, they’ve cooked up Cheesus Chrust Superstar. Ingredients here. Also, they’re hiring.
🛞 The Michelin Guide to the American South was LEAKED and then properly released this week… Soooo many amazing spots in our little pocket of ATL were honored. See the details over at RoughDraft.
🥕 Carrot Walnut Cake is back at Alon’s. You know. The one that only comes around twice a year…

🖼️ This isn’t really an Eat, and it isn’t really an Event, so we’ll call it an Update. East Atlanta artist Erin Machado aka ELM is doing an art installation at San Francisco coffee’s VaHi location. Her prints will be around the coffee shop (available for purchase) and there will also be mini prints available for $1 in an old-school vending machine.
🌳 The Atlanta Dogwood Festival is coming back for the 90th year after financial concerns threatened its future, but it comes with a catch: it’ll cost ya $5 to get in on Friday and $10 on Saturday and Sunday.
